Our worldwide headquarters "aka" garage bay is the bay closest to the railroad tracks. After entering you'll be greeted by someone from our team. A team member will offer you a sample, then take you on the 2 minute tour. We invite all to hangout, sample more beer and chat with us and our other guests. We love meeting new people and seeing familiar faces.
Parking can be tough at times but our neighbors are super cool and if your car needs to move they'll come in and politely ask you to do so.
Our handcrafted ales may also be found at these establishments. We suggest calling in advance to check what's on tap. If you would like to see our handcrafted ales on tap at your favorite establishment feel free to send us an email and we'll do our best to make it happen.

It all began in the mid 90’s when Bob received a home-brew kit for father’s day. Bob had caught the “brewer bug” and the dream of one day brewing on a larger scale began. It wasn’t long before Bob started entering & winning regional home-brewer’s awards and later went on to win national awards, including 9 ribbons for various styles and a gold medal for an authentic German Rauchbier. Receiving encouragement from family & friends, Bob and his son in-law PJ set out to make the dream a reality. Together Bob & PJ co-found Navigation Brewing Co. After a lengthy two years of searching, planning and waiting, Navigation Brewing Co. came to fruition. Bob & PJ with the help from volunteers Phil "The Maintenance Man" Sutton, Shawn Lussier and Mike Anastasi began brewing small 1.5bbl batches of handcrafted ales in a 1200 sq.ft. industrial space in Lowell, MA.
Navigation Brewing Co. accomplished so much and exceeded our expectations thanks to the huge support received from family, friends, the community and most of all our customers. Its never easy, juggling family life, real jobs (which we continue to keep), brewing new batches, attending tasting events, and growing a business. But it’s a labor of love thing and we wouldn’t change it for anything. During the summer of 2014 the Navigation Team began filling growlers, growing local tap accounts and retail accounts around the Merrimack Valley. During the late summer a few upgrades were made in the fermenting room with the purchase of 3 new 3bbl fermenters. By late fall a purchase of recycled kegs from Long Trail Brewery in VT. In January of 2015 the beginning of double batching brews from 1.5bbl’s to 3bbl’s to meet tap account and brewery sales demand. Plans to expand the operation, grow accounts and supply customers with more fine ales are top priorities going into year two. To be continued….
